Muslim Extremist Fined For Setting Fire To Poppies, Second Sun Appears Over China Like Tatooine, Charlie Sheen: Dead Man Ranting, Bill Maher: Charlie Sheen Is Like Sarah Palin On Cocaine, Google's Self Driving Car In Action

Hello everyone, another day another blog. Hope your week is starting good. I'm hoping Winter is going away, it'd be good to have Spring come. I am getting tired of this cold weather. Here's your news for the day.

Muslim Extremist Fined For Setting Fire To Poppies

A member of the Muslims Against Crusades, Emdadur Choudury was guilty of a “calculated and deliberate” insult to the dead. He burned two large plastic poppies on November 11th. Before this incident, members of the MAC were chanting “British soldiers burn in hell” in west London, near the Royal Albert Hall. The District Judge said this in the ruling given on the case: “The two-minute chanting, when others were observing a silence, followed by a burning of the symbol of remembrance was a calculated and deliberate insult to the dead and those who mourn or remember them.” Another member of the MAC, Mohammad Haque, was not found guilty of the same offence. Emdadur Choudhury has denied the charge under Section 5 of the Public Order Act of burning poppies in a way that was surely going to cause “harassment, harm or distress” to those who had witnessed it. The court was told that the incident occurred as a rival protest between the MAC and the English Defence League took place in London at Kensington Gore. A grandson of a WWII soldier, Tony Kibble, said he felt “sick inside” when he witnessed the poppy-burning. The judge said that the ceasefire at 11AM on November 11th, 1918 had “huge significance” for the people of Britain and was seen as the marking of the end of a “terrible war.” The judge also said, in his ruling: "The act of remembrance has come to include those who have died in subsequent wars and conflicts. The two minutes' silence remains widely respected. Even now the business of the courts, and indeed other everyday life, usually comes to a standstill at 11 o'clock on November 11." He also said, "In my view, the rights of others includes the right to express publicly support, sympathy and remembrance for the Armed Forces." He described Kibble as an “apparently mild-mannered” man who had impressed him as a member of the public with what he called “typical feelings” about Remembrance Day. Defending for Choudhury, Daniel Breger, said he was a married man with two children. He said he worked part time and made 480 pounds a month, received a tax credit of 240 pounds a month, a child tax credit of 432 pounds a month and a child benefit of 120 pounds a month. His total monthly income was 1 272 pounds. Choudhury was ordered to pay a fine of 50 pounds as well as a 15 pound victim surcharge.

Second Sun Appears Over China Like Tatooine

It seems from this picture that a second sun was found in the sky over China last week. Some people thought that the sun ad spontaneously split in two, but that is the thoughts of a fool. It is also not the explosion of Betelgeuse either, which was reported in February to be a possibility to happen in the future. Space boffins say that the reason for the visualization of two suns is because of a very rare optical refraction. Jim Kaler, of the University of Illinois, says that a thick patch of atmosphere could refract or bend light to create a mirage of a source of light that is nearby the original. While speaking to MSNBC he had said:  "There must have been some blob of atmosphere somewhere that caused this truly spectacular phenomenon, which in a sense is a mirage." This also isn’t the first time that this imagery has happened. In 1993, Marcel Minnaert, a Flemish astronomer, recorded a similar sighting in which both the Sun and the Moon were doubled. We have yet to see Betelgeuse explode, and when it does it will be a spectacle to see if the earth gets brighter and if the Earth gets warmer.

That's it for today. I promise I will go back to longer blogs eventually! I'm just liking keeping these short because of how late I end up doing them. To end it we have Charlie Sheen's latest webispode called Dead Man Ranting. As well as Bill Maher talking about Charlie Sheen. Last is a video of Google's self driving car in action. If this is what the world is coming to, I don't see it being long until robotic security cars are enforced.
